What’s your happy place?

Do you do certain things when you’re happy? Not things to make you happy. Knitting certainly does give me my happy. No, I mean do you grin when you’re happy? Do you hug people when you’re happy? Me? I sing. If you’ve been in the studio for any length of time, you know when I’m happy, joyous even, I sing. Last weekend, at Vogue Knitting Live, I would sing to my fellow vendors as we were setting up for the day. I sang for my customers. I sang on the way there and on the way back home. On Monday morning after VKL, my hubster told me I was humming in my sleep. Now that was a first for me.

Wanna know why I’m so happy? It is YOU, my friends. It is you. I can’t even. So many of you came to the studio booth just to give me a hug or thoughtful words of encouragement. I was grinning ear to ear most of the weekend. My heart was overflowing. The studio wouldn’t survive if it wasn’t for you. I thank you for patronizing the studio but most of all for you just being you.

I really stink at stopping and taking pictures but here are a few snapshots of the weekend. Some of the faces might be familiar to you, some may not. You might get to know a few later, as I’ve been busy working on getting guest instructors for when we get into the new space in early 2020. I can’t wait!!

I would like to give a shout out and a very special hug to all my helpers but especially to Kelly Campbell, Donita Westman, Anne Kennedy, Marty Mishler and Steve Mishler. You rock my world! xoxoxo
