Stitch Escape 2026 ~ You’re Invited!

You are cordially invited to 614 Knit Studio’s Annual StitchEscape. This year’s retreat will take place at Bellwether Farms in Wakeman, OH on September 4-6, 2026.

This year will be different than years past as we’ve found a really great retreat place. We will be taking advantage of 4 different activities Bellwether has to offer, including farm, culinary, nature and crafting experiences. You may take one or all to build knowledge and have fun during this restful weekend with our studio fiber community. You can explore this beautiful 137 acre heritage farm with a hike or catch (and release) a few fish from their 5 acre pond on your own, as well. In between each workshop, you may commune together with others and create with your fiber friends, new and old.

All meals, breakfast/ lunch/ and dinners will be farm to table with special needs accommodated. I have been told by a reliable source who recently attended a retreat at this venue, that the food is pretty fantastic.

In the evenings we will gather together and knit, crochet, spin, weave and create to our hearts content.

There will be a yarn/ fiber swap and other related activities including lots and lots of enjoying our fiber arts of choice.

This year, we will not have a pop-up shop for you to find fibery goodies to purchase. Instead, you will have the option to add a Studio Dog Fibers kit prior to the weekend. More details about that later and there will be several to choose from.

The accommodations will give us an opportunity to invite our non-fiber loving partners, spouses and friends to join along. Each guest room has 1 queen or 2 twin beds and its own attached bathroom. There are a few ADA compliant rooms available.

You may register for a single ($675)  or a double ($600 per person) which includes room, board, and all activities. Registration is OPEN. You will need to pay a non-refundable deposit of $300 per person due at registration, with the remainder due by Friday, August 14 at 4:00p.m. This is a first come, first served situation and spaces are limited.  Call 614-670-5629 or visit the studio to save your spot.
